ROX were among an elite group of international jewellers selected to work with the brilliant Ellerston sapphires for The Ellerston Project. These magnificent gems, unearthed by Kerry Packer in Australia’s Hunter Valley, are among the World’s finest.

Due to their dazzling brilliance the ancients believed sapphires to be the most powerful of stones so historically they have been the chosen stone of Kings and high priests. We wanted to emulate that philosophy by creating highly distinctive forms that would allow the stones to cast their magic.

Front Design created a micro website and handcrafted brochure for the launch. Each brochure was printed and assembled by hand using premium stocks and finishes including a cover of Evanescent Golden Pink Silk, an exquisite iridescent paper stock.
