Kōtia skincare captures the uniquely nourishing and protective properties of 100% pure New Zealand Deer milk. Sydney based Drum Agency approached us to produce clean images that accurately captured the brands subtle metallic colour and high quality finishes. We measured and modelled the packs in Modo, then rendered with V-ray Next. Every detail was recreated including moulding marks and batch stamps. In addition to the gorgeous soft metallic we also captured the glossy orange peel appearance of the silk screened graphics. Images were required showing specific multiple product angles. An additional selection with props was created as proof of concept.
Kōtia is a combination of Maori words bringing together young women (kō) and deer (tia). The deer farms kōtia source milk from undertake a safe and regulated milking process. The Hinds are kept on the farm’s best paddocks with plenty of feed, which ensures they’re healthy and produce lots of milk. A Hind produces much more milk than her fawn can drink, so there is milk left over after every feed.
