Inner City Winemakers approached us again to design a new wine in their growing range. Their Lucille sparkling is handcrafted using Chardonnay grapes and bottle fermented in the traditional method. Janine from ICW had prepared some new art for us to incorporate into the design, a whimsical drawing of a seated girl blowing bubbles as a stylised drawing using a silver paint pen on art paper. We scanned and optimised the art and designed a label around it, the final print process using a metallic ink to match the original art, and a special wavy diecut shape to maintain the soft flowing feel. The final design was then modelled in Strata and rendered images below created.
